Anette: Multi styles & fondatrice de Sunshine Yoga.
Our Danish founder, multi-lingual, multi style teacher, established “Sunshine Yoga Monte-Carlo” The International Holistic Fitness Center of Monaco, in 2003 which has been based at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel since July 2006. She began studying Traditional Yoga in 1990, completed 500 hours of Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with Shri Mahesh in France, and was the pioneer in bringing Vinyasa Yoga to Monaco/South of France in 2002 from California. She loves to unite people, and launch new instructors, helping them find their own style of teaching from the heart. Her mission is to uplift people; bringing sunshine into everybody’s life – transformation & healing through joy & movement – as she believes “everyone can shine”
Cathy: Yoga+ Pilates, Hatha Yoga, Full Moon Yoga.
A yoga teacher for nearly a decade having trained at Shivananda Yoga Vedanta Cathy is dedicated to making her classes available to all levels using a variety of styles, including Pilates, to provide a practice which works on strength, balance & stretching all in harmony with the breath. She also brings her unique gifts as a professional singer to the Sanskrit chants she sings during the final relaxation at the end of each class. Cathy is our Full Moon Yoga expert, offering a special 2 hour Hatha Yoga class designed to calm the mind & emotions, ground & open the body & focus the breath leading to a deep sense of peace for the extended final relaxation at this special time of lunar energy. Cathy’s classes are in English & French.
Patricia: Hatha Yoga
Patricia’s first experience with yoga felt like a “homecoming”. Her classes are in English (she also speaks Spanish) and aimed at all of those who may wish to go beyond the simple physical exercise and enter into a deeper journey of personal discovery. She helps you explore how the breath, body and mind are connected, and the way they affect each other. She also teaches how to feel and expand the energy (prana) in a more compassionate and conscious manner in order to bring life more vitality and fulfilment. In 2009, she graduated as a Yoga Teacher at the International School of Yoga Sivananda, with Swami Sivadasananda, a direct disciple of Swami Vishnu Devananda. In addition to Yoga she took a 3 year course “The Psycho Energetics Training Program” taught by Irene Tobler and Michael Mervosh.
Martina: Eternal Youth Yoga/Five Tibetans
Martina Rakus, Australian, has studied intensely with Sunshine Yoga for over 6 years and is currently completing the Triyoga teacher’s training in London. She is an anti-aging expert & teaches “Eternal Youth Yoga” in English & French. “I try to live my life as a meditation –ANANDA – following my bliss by travelling to magical faraway lands, SAMADHANA – concentrating on the continuation of my Yoga studies, reading inspiring life stories, TITIKSA – enduring extremes by climbing glaciers in the mountains and swimming kilometres in the ocean, SRADDHA – faith in those I love to teach my true dharma.”
Nathalie: Yin Yang Yoga
Candice: Pilates, Prenatal Pilates
An energetic, lively, positive soul with a passion for life and movement! Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa professional dancer for many years Candice gained a degree & later worked in marketing before returning to her passion for movement & becoming a qualified BASI Pilates Instructor. Her speciality is Pilates in Pregnancy.
She is also a believer in following your heart…. Dream it, Believe it, Achieve it!
Careen: Yin-Yang Yoga, Teenage Yoga
Practicing and studying yoga since 10 years, Careen is a qualified Yoga Alliance teacher. She has trained with teachers as Bryan Kest, Manju Jois, and recently been greatly inspired by Insight Yoga teacher Sarah Powers. Having practiced various styles of yoga, she is particularly interested in the psychological and therapeutic application of yoga as well as meditation. Her teaching focuses on Yin and Yang, which is at the same time a soft, dynamic and strengthening practice.
Henrick: Vinyasa Challenge

Naomi: Hatha Yoga
” Naomi has been practicing and studying yoga in Hawaii for the past 12 years. She has a teaching certificate in Hatha yoga and often weaves her experience of other styles into her classes. The best health is when one is truly relaxed and at peace. Her passion is to share this state of being, while focusing on alignment, breath, joy and love.”
Elvira: Thi Chi Chuan
Entre le Taï-Chi-Chuan et moi, c’est une histoire d’amour passionnante qui a débuté en 1994. Réveillée et approfondie par mes professeurs Mijo Boulet-Crovetto, championne de France de Taï-Chi-Chuan et Phuc Van Nguyen, spécialiste de la forme de Maître Chen Man Ching et du Zhi Neng Qi-Gong. Très vite, cet art est devenu mon moyen de ressourcement et d’équilibre.
Le goût pour la philosophie orientale s’installant, j’ai étudié la Médecine Chinoise avec le Dr. Desportes et le Zhi Neng Qi-Gong avec Phuc Van Nguyen. Après 10 ans d’études du Taï-Chi-Chuan, je me suis lancée dans son enseignement il y a 8 ans. L’ouverture d’esprit est mon aspiration.
